# Overview

**OCEAN DRIVE is a Web3 recycling app with inbuilt Game-Fi and Social-Fi elements.**

**OCEAN DRIVE** is dedicated to self-improvement and increasing the overall health of all living things by putting an end to the plastic pollution crisis both on land and at sea by using the **UBER model (Pick up - Drop off - Get paid).**

**OCEAN DRIVE** is built around the urgent need of preserving the most essential elements for the existence of life: water and oxygen.

**OCEAN DRIVE** aims to revolutionize the way we clean the plastic waste pollution from the Earth's biosphere by bringing together the **World's Gaming Community** with the **World's Fishing Industry** in one app**.**

We are the first project to effectively create a functioning hybrid **recycle & earn concept with Game-fi and Social-Fi elements** — a whole digital ecosystem built on top of the Real World.

## **OCEAN DRIVE's earning platforms**

**OCEAN DRIVE** is a dual token ecosystem powered by 2 earning platforms: Clean-2-Earn and Play-2-Earn. Each platform can be successful on their own but when put together they create a unique and powerful tool used in the war against plastic pollution.

### **1. Clean-2-Earn platform (Web3 app)**

The Clean-2-Earn platform was inspired from the groundbreaking concept applied by **UBER** and **Airbnb** of using pre-existing infrastructure like people’s cars and people’s homes to create a whole new global economy. Similarly, **OCEAN DRIVE** offers a Web 3.0 global platform powered by blockchain where individuals and fishing companies can use their boats/ships to earn by collecting the plastic waste that suffocates our oceans and rivers.

### **2. Play-2-Earn platform (Web3** Mobile **Game)**

Users equip themselves with **NFTs** in the form of T-shirts. By collecting and recycling plastic at home or outdoors, users earn game currency (OATOM tokens), which can either be cashed out for profit or used in-game.

[**Research**](https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2018/03/06/only-9-of-the-worlds-plastic-is-recycled?utm_medium=cpc.adword.pd\&utm_source=google\&ppccampaignID=18151738051\&ppcadID=\&utm_campaign=a.22brand_pmax\&utm_content=conversion.direct-response.anonymous\&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsPzy4827_QIVXJBoCR1jdgilEAAYASAAEgL-tvD_BwE\&gclsrc=aw.ds) showed that only 9% of the plastics produced globally gets recycled, therefore the goal of the Play-2-Earn platform is to motivate people all over the world to recycle more by earning cryptocurrency and therefore significantly reducing the amount of plastic litter that ends up in the oceans.

**Join today & make your effort count!**

**OCEAN DRIVE** aims to stir millions toward a healthier lifestyle by cleaning the plastic waste pollution from our oceans and the environment, combat the overfishing crisis, combat poverty in disadvantaged communities, combat the collapse of oxygen in the atmosphere, combat climate change, combat the coral reef crisis and connect the public to Web3, all while simultaneously hinging on it’s Social-Fi aspect to build a long-lasting global platform fostering user generated Web3 content.

**Note: OCEAN DRIVE is currently under development, so contents in the Whitepaper could be changed in the future.**

**Game Token: OATOM (Oxygen Atom)**

**Governance Token: HATOM (Hydrogen Atom)**
